We mainly address the topics listed in our Core Planks but welcome alternative conversation as well. Just wondering why you would promote the BC First Party up on your site and not the BC Refederation Party?
BC First doesn’t represent anything new that wasn’t already proposed by the BC Refederation Party. In fact everything that BC First is proposing that they have come up with has in fact been lifted directly from the BC Refederation Party.
All of their policies came from information that was shared with Chris Delaney when he was considering joining the BC Refederation Party. Then after he got what he wanted, he went off to create his own party (this is only splitting the vote, not helping to get rid of tyranny) and pretended that he made all of this stuff up!
First to propose a BC Constitution? Nope, the BC Refederation Party has proposed this idea for over 10 years.
If you read through everything that BC First proposes, it’s all VERY similar to the BC Refederation Party policies.
Oh, wait, there is one thing that they changed. The part where BC Refederation Party proposes that we change our government to a DIRECT DEMOCRACY and let the people control the politicians, yeah you guessed it, they took that part out. Instead they replaced it with the words REPRESENTATIONAL DEMOCRACY which means they don’t want to change a single thing.
Come on guys, you’re gonna lose so many people who are actually awake if you keep backing the same old same old. Out with the old, in with the new. Look up what the BC Refederation Party has to say.

What is about We Are Change that attracts this uniformly clueless middle-class reject “media student” role? Hardly ever in the streets (and always embarrassing themselves when they are), tirelessly rehashing stupid conspiracy theories online … presumably you’re going to “raise awareness” until the stars burn out, never wondering why it doesn’t seem to matter to anyone beyond your little cult.
Of course, people say similar things about the anarchists so I have my sense of humour here. I remember trying to be nice to kids from We Are Change Vancouver during the anti-olympics summit and they spat venom about stuff they didn’t understand online then (as now). I don’t know Zoe Blunt very well but I’ve read her stuff and admired her organizing for years, she’s a very bright and tireless environmental activist with a lot of integrity so … what the hell folks? Get to know some people outside your own demographic, does wonders for your perspective.
